WHAT IS A PHOTO ALBUM?
Photo album is a lay-flat binding book, that allows to show the picture on both sides of the centrefold (two pages). The pages are inflexible, because photos are connected with each other by the special interleaves.
ALBUM STANDARD – in this album photos are exposed to light on the traditional photographic paper.
ALBUM FINE ART – it is an album dedicated to the most discerning artists.
DIGITAL PHOTO ALBUM – album’s pages are printed digitally on different types of paper.
Types of photo albums
Album Standard – ages of this album are exposed on the Fuji Crystal Archive Supreme paper. It is a traditional photographic paper, which guarantees a high-quality image and an intense blackness. It allows you to show even the smallest details and is ideal for creating a Photo Album. It is available in sateen or a glossy version. Both types of papers are resistant to scrapes, but only on the silk paper fingerprints are not visible. Printouts are applied on so-called interleaves so that the pages are inflexible and opened completely.
Album Fine Art – an album dedicated to the most discerning artists. Museo® paper is designed for the most demanding jobs which after printing become real piece of art. It is a matte printing with a light texture made of 100% cotton fibre. The lack of optical brighteners gives it a very natural look and increases the durability of the printing; over time, it does not change its colour. The final product is noble and looks incomparably better than on the plain plotter paper. Using our Canon 4000 Pro, Museo® paper gives an incredibly wide range of colour saturation (practically inaccessible to other papers, including photographic ones).
Thanks to these features many works hanging at the galleries are printed on Museo® paper.
Digital Photo Album – The paper chosen for the digital printing should be adjusted to the type of photos presented, as well as the client’s needs. We chose a different type for the old pictures and different for the presentation of digital or artistic photos. Primary colours we offer are perfectly white and ninon Sateen, Munken with a delicate structure (cream or white) and Mohawk with a visible structure (cream or white). Munken and Mohawk are matte papers – perfect for the artistic and archival pictures.
